Having made wedding and other celebratory cakes for many years; having started some 30+ years ago when Royal Icing was particularly fashionable and before modern sugar paste techniques were introduced, I have updated my qualifications over the last 4-5 years to become fully ABC qualified in all aspects of cake decorating to advanced level, achieving distinctions throughout, and I have now established Sheffield Cakes.

Since establishing Sheffield Cakes I have made numerous cakes, both traditional wedding cakes, less traditional wedding cakes like the VW campervan, and fun themed cakes for other celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries, new baby & christenings and other celebratory events for clients who have always expressed their delight with my work, complimenting me on the detail and quality of the finished product, and with many returning to place further orders and/or recommending me to friends and colleagues.

 I am very proud to have established customer recommendations as my main source of new business. I have also undertaken work for other established cake decorators who are familiar with my work and are confident to refer wedding cake and other orders to me on occasions when their orders have exceeded their own capacity."
